Education - Academic Program Visit

The Education Program Visit will allow guests the opportunity to learn more about the programs offered in UNC's School of Teacher Education. First initiated as a teacher’s college in 1889, UNC has education in its DNA. Future students in teacher education will follow in the footsteps of the best teachers in Colorado, and will be well-prepared to blaze their own trails nationally. UNC currently ranks fifth in teacher candidate graduates in the U.S. and of educators trained in Colorado, 54 percent have received their education from UNC. 

Programs which will be highlighted include: 

• Early Childhood Education
• Elementary Education
• Secondary Education
• K-12 Education

During the campus visit students will hear from UNC faculty members from the School of Teacher Education, learn general UNC information and application requirements from an Admission Counselor, and enjoy a campus tour provided by an Admission Ambassador.
